Dimitri è regista, scenografo, costumista, autore, attore e grafico.

Firma le scene di più di 80 produzioni, principalmente su testi di autori di drammaturgia contemporanea, tra le quali figurano in prima assoluta o italiana Blasted e Crave di Sarah Kane, Io sono il vento di Jon Fosse, Le regole di sapere vivere nella società moderna di Jean-Luc Lagarce, Carezze di Sergi Belbel, Le cognate di Michel Tremblay, Il cammino dei passi pericolosi di Michel Marc Bouchard e molte altre ancora su testi di autori come Arne Lygre, Barbara Nativi, Lars Noren, Normand Chaurette, Michel Tremblay, Martin Crimp, Philip Ridley, Marius von Mayenburg, Dimitris Dimitriadis, Michel Marc Bouchard, lavorando con registi da tutto il mondo come Barbara Nativi, Irene Aho, Jon Tombre, Rickard Gunther, Alice Ronfard, Ingo Kerkoff, Roxana Silbert, Dominic Droomgoole, Débora Dubois, Paula de Vasconcelos, David Ferry, Runar Hodne e altri.
I suoi lavori sono stati visti in Francia, in Russia, in Ungheria, in Canada e in Cina.
Oltre alla sua attività come regista e designer, scrive per il teatro testi come Strani Umori, Strani Umori II, Ginori e Senza ombra di dubbio e traduce testi di drammaturgia contemporanea greca e inglese.
Ha svolto attività didattica per diversi anni tenendo corsi e seminari di scenografia e attualmente è insegnante presso la Scuola di Teatro Intercity.
Sin dall’inizio (1989) gestisce l’immagine dell’associazione culturale Teatro della Limonaia e del Festival Intercity e contribuisce con il suo lavoro, alla diffusione della drammaturgia contemporanea, curando molte tra le pubblicazioni (Intercity Plays, Ubulibri e Editoria & Spettacolo) del Festival Intercity.
Ha fatto parte del consiglio direttivo di Agis Italiafestival, è stato membro, per il Festival Intercity, dell’IETM ed è stato parte integrante dell’equipe artistica della compagnia Laboratorio Nove sin dalla sua fondazione fino al 2003.
Dal 2005 è direttore artistico dell’associazione culturale Teatro della Limonaia (di cui è creatore insieme a Barbara Nativi e ad altri colleghi) e del progetto Intercity: Intercity Festival, Intercity Winter, Intercity Connections, Intercity Scuola di Teatro.
Vive e lavora a Firenze.
Dimitri is a director, set/costume/light designer, author, actor and graphic designer.

To this day, he has designed more than 80 productions, working mainly on contemporary theatre authors, including several national and/or world premieres, such as Blasted and Crave by Sarah Kane, Eg er vinden by Jon Fosse, Les règles du savoir-vivre dans la société moderne by Jean-Luc Lagarce, Carícies by Sergi Belbel, Les belles-sœurs by Michel Tremblay, Le chemin des passes dangereux by Michel Marc Bouchard and many other productions on texts by playwrights such as Arne Lygre, Barbara Nativi, Lars Noren, Normand Chaurette, Michel Tremblay, Martin Crimp, Philip Ridley, Marius von Mayenburg, Dimitris Dimitriadis, Michel Marc Bouchard, while working side by side with directors from around the world, such as Barbara Nativi, Irene Aho, Jon Tombre, Rickard Günther, Alice Ronfard, Ingo Kerkoff, Roxana Silbert, Dominic Droomgoole, Débora Dubois, Paula de Vasconcelos, David Ferry, Runar Hodne, just to name a few.
His works have toured in France, Russia, Hungary, Canada and China.
Alongside his work as director and set designer, he is a published author of theatre plays, such as Strani Umori, Strani Umori II, Ginori and Senza ombra di dubbio and has translated contemporary theatre plays from English and modern Greek.
He has worked in education for many years teaching courses and seminars on set designing and he is currently a faculty member at the Scuola di Teatro Intercity.
Since its founding (1989), he has been managing the image of the cultural association Teatro della Limonaia and the Festival Intercity and has been promoting contemporary theatre by editing several publications (Intercity Plays, Ubulibri e Editoria&Spettacolo) sponsored by Festival Intercity.
He has served on the Board of the Agis Italiafestival, acted as the representative for Festival Intercity at the IETM, and was a founding member of the theatre company and artistic association Laboratorio Nove, since its creation in 2003.
Starting in 2005, he became artistic director of the cultural association Teatro della Limonaia (co-founded by him and Barbara Nativi, together with other colleagues) and of the whole Intercity project: Intercity Festival, Intercity Winter, Intercity Connections, Intercity Scuola di Teatro.
He lives and works in Florence, Italy.
